Lockdown 564

Lockdown Day 564 - 11 October 2021
Nelson Mandela said a profound thing about the day he walked out of prison.
" As I walked out the door that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I didn't leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I'd still be in prison. "

On day 562 I wrote about living in two places at the same time. As long as those places are edifying instead of destructive, one can thrive and grow in both places. But if one or both of those places cause you to become bitter and resentful, you are, as Nelson Mandela so rightly points out, in prison.

Being completely free means your spirit can soar without restriction. It is in thát freedom where bitterness becomes joy and hatred becomes love.
Nelson Mandela also said, "What counts is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead. "

Making sure God is central to our existence wherever we choose to live, causes us to exhibit God in such a way that other lives can be touched , directed and taught by the Holy Spirit.
This is the most significant life there is to lead. Desire it and do your utmost and God will have your back. Because He loved you first. And because He's got this.
