Lockdown Day 574 - 21 October 2021

Because of our childhood and the missing tech, I daresay our generation and older are at the moment the only "complete" people.  By this I do not say all the younger ones (I call them tech-gen) are not complete, they just are where they are, seeing as tech isn't going away soon.

By complete I mean experienced both worlds. We don't have to imagine what life was like without tech (especially internet related), we know.  Technology is embedded into the tech-gen lifestyle, which to them is normal.

I wonder what would happen when the plug is pulled on the internet. Obviously all of us will struggle, at first. Bear Grylls and Survivor come to mind, although I am pretty sure none of them ever imagine a world without the internet when filming their life-hacks.

Oh, and Google...... Need I say more? Libraries will get a new lease on life and books will suddenly become black market items. Maps will have to be drawn from scratch and people like me will get lost more often! 🤣 Oh, we will also have to go to the store to buy what we need because takealot will be taken out!

What would happen in a pandemic without internet? 🤔 Well, I leave that riddle up to you to solve, my brain has gone fishing... 🎣

Through it all, our triune God and His Word have been the same. The only constant. The pivot around Whom the universe rotates. Stay rooted in Him, and everything else will fall into place. He is the Light of the world and He is unstoppable and incomprehensible. To follow Him is enough. And of course, He's got this.
