Lockdown 569

Lockdown Day 569 - 16 October 2021

Today hubby joined me in Gauteng for two days of meetings and lots of "to-do's" stemming from living in two places. The weather was hot and windy, drying the washing in a flash and reminiscient of the windy city's monster wind.

Sitting at the fire after sunset, we enjoyed each other's (and of course the pooch too) company, catching up on family happenings and much needed housekeeping arrangements for future organisation.

Later, enjoying our green space and the cool of night, I sit on my verandah. My housemates are all in bed and the quiet nature sounds permeate my thoughts. Thoughts of God's goodness and faithfulness.

As I watch the Moon and Venus conjunction set, I think about how God has shown Himself to me in a profound way by directly answering a prayer in such a way I had no doubts as to where it came from.

From the most unlikely source at the most untimely time in the most unpredictable fashion..... He just came and answered me. This is my God. He speaks and my heart swells. I offer up a prayer of praise to the Most High for surprising me once again. This is why I know He's got this.
