Lockdown Day 567 - 14 October 2021
One would think a pandemic would cause professional people to reconsider things like fee structures, etc. I have already written about one such professional not delivering the services paid for.
There are many others exploiting people in this manner, charging exorbitant fees for questionable services. Professionals who are looked up to and highly regarded.
My father was a professional law man. He used to say, "Michi, always remember to run the extra mile without expecting payment. In this way, your miles will become accolades running out before you. And integrity will become your crown."
Inviting God into one's business is both the easiest and most difficult thing to do. Handing over the day to day running of a business into the hands of God is a faith bungee very few people have mastered.
You see, if God doesn't run your business you run the risk of losing focus. If God is not in charge, who is?
Earthly things such as love of money and entitlement creep in, shifting the focus to self preservation. Whatever the motivation, the outcome atays the same: the client becomes a commodity.
So tonight I offer up a prayer for all clients who aren't heard. I pray God's discernment for them every time they seek professional help. If God isn't the boss, leave immediately. Your help comes from Him.
