Lockdown Day 128 - 1 August 2020
Peace is a highly sought after commodity in these times of uncertainty. People talk to psychologists, life coaches and all kinds of therapists, in an attempt to stay focused and to survive all things lockdown.
The one common denominator in lockdown "victims' is the absence of total and complete inner peace. Contentment has left the ball park for most of us, as we are in a way stopped in our tracks. No plans can be made for the future, which requires a totally different kind of thinking.
Accepting change is one thing, but adapting your personal brain profile to accommodate changes that not necessarily fit your bill is entirely another thing.
It is much like trying to change a cloth face mask into a scarf. Somewhere youre going to realise you don't have enough of the right material to make a cosy scarf with. But with perseverence and a can-do-attitude you can do it.
So, tonight, while watching Venus and Saturn flanking the moon, I refuse the robbery of my inner peace, and I commit the peace of God Who created the universe that surpasses all, to my spirit. Even though the scarf will take a while to construct, I shall persevere and allow God to handcuff the robbers of peace.
I leave you with the blessing of the words of 2Thessalonians 3:16, "And the Master of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Master be with you all." Gbwy.

Wasn't the moon and planets beautiful last night? xxx
