Lockdown Day 151 - 24 August 2020
Winston Churchill said, “The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.”
Incontrovertible means undeniable. Malice means wrongful intent. Ignorance means lack of knowledge. So in my words, Truth is undeniable. Wrongful intent may attack it. Lack of knowledge may make fun of it. But in the end, there it is.
Truth is a person. Jesus. He says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
"
So let's put Truth into Churchill's quote:
Jesus is undeniable. Many people attack Him with wrongful intent. Many who lack the knowledge of Who He is, make fun of Him. But in the end, HE IS HERE.
He is the bottom line. Even if you sink to the bottom of whatever pool you think you're in, you'll be standing on Him. The Rock of all Ages. Your fortress and your strength.
Yes, He's definitely got this.
powerful!!
