Lockdown Day 139 - 12 August 2020
Christmas lights, fairy lights, candles and LED's can be found almost everwhere. Designers over the ages have busied themselves with the creation of spectacular light features and most people find themselves drawn to light displays.
Why? Because they know there is something else to it, other than just enjoying its beauty. Its almost as if our bodies crave the exposure.
Remember the exercise we did on day 137, 10 August? The colour you chose is where you mostly function and definitely says something about you as a person, but remember this is not putting you in a mould, you can be a combination or rainbow person.
Here is a quick summary that you can use to check if you were right about yourself:
RED Courageous, confident, humanistic, strong-willed, spontaneous, honest and extroverted.
ORANGE Enthusiastic, happy, sociable, energetic, sporty, self-assured and constructive.
YELLOW Good-humoured, optimistic, confident, practical and intellectual.
GREEN Understanding, self-controlled, adaptable, sympathetic, compassionate, generous, humble, nature loving and romantic.
BLUE Loyal, tactful, affectionate, inspiring, inventive, caring and cautious.
INDIGO Intuitive, fearless, practical, idealistic, wise and a truth seeker.
VIOLET Inspirational leaders, kindly and just, humanitarians, self-sacrificing, visionary, creative and mentally strong.
Drawn to light/coloured light? Remember God is light, as in the words of 1John1:5b, "God is pure light. You will never find even a trace of darkness in him."
So tonight I bless you with these words from 1Timothy6:15-16, "Yes, God will make his appearing in his own divine timing, for he is the exalted God, the only powerful One, the King over every king, and the Lord of power! He alone is the immortal God, living in the unapproachable light of divine glory! No one has ever seen his fullness, nor can they, for all the glory and endless authority of the universe belongs to him, forever and ever. Amen!"
