Lockdown Day 144 - 17 August 2020
Today is the last day of Lockdown level 3. From midnight the econony has been given the green light for trading as usual.
As with the gym scenario, I find myself in a less than desirable frame of mind.
So after cleaning house today, I decided to go and have a cup of tea in a nursery nearby. The warm sun on my skin on this very cold day was good.
I was the only person in the tea garden for about 45 minutes. I was thankful for the quiet, surrounded by towering trees and the nursery's little water nook. I was confronted with truth questions I have no answers for, so I decided to breathe mindfully, slowly and with intent.
Sometimes this kind of silence acts as a trigger for God's voice to be heard. His voice is sometimes in the rustling of the leaves or the touch of the August breeze, or simply a kind word or two from a passer-by. Sometimes His voice is an echo in your own virtual darkness, shining His light on the path you need to follow.
And when you follow His prompts, you will find it doesn't matter if you don't have the answers for what you're going through, but rather Who is walking with you. To realise that God has unlimited potential in our limited world, replaces our one-dimensional vision with a 3D perspective - Father, Son and Spirit Dimension.
He Himself says in Jeremiah 32:27, “Behold, I am the Lord , the God of all flesh; is there anything too difficult for Me?” To believe should therefore be the easiest thing. It is like having a best friend, mentor and father in one!
Never carry your load alone, it's not worth it, not when you know nothing is too difficult or impossible for the all-powerful God of the universe to do. Yes, He's definitely got this.
Yes!
