Lockdown 145

Lockdown Day 145 - 18 August 2020
This morning when I woke up, a band of clouds loomed on the horizon. I decided to walk a shorter route and also decided it was going to snow. And wow, my expectations were met! It started with little ice blobs dancing on the grass and then changed into wafting floating little flakes. Snow Report SA's page had videos coming in from many towns as far as Uniondale. What a great start to Lockdown level 2!

A question that has been burning in my mind is, “Where are you walking?”
And, "Would you have walked where you are now if you had known what it would take you through?"

I thought of  those celebrity interviews with people that go from zero to hero where they are asked, " If you could do this again, would you choose the same path?" And then they always answer, "I would choose the same path again."
REALLY? Ummm, I wonder. Celeb-talk? Maybe "It was not great at all and I really don't know if I would have done it had I known" would sound more true?
Hubby always says hindsight is exact science. Meaning: It's easy to look back and be wise.

The trick is to walk the earth without looking down. You have to look up. Always. Heaven always makes earth look promising. To believe everyday there is a promise to follow, you cross the threshold and blur the line where heaven begins and earth ends.

Just like the snow today brought a supernatural element into my day, following a promise is walking in the supernatural.

The moment you choose to enter the supernatural is like being in space. Your burden becomes weightless. It frees your spirit, mind and body to look up and see where you haven't yet gone, and step into what you haven't yet seen.

Faith is the place where heaven meets earth. This is where the supernatural becomes our thought life and our walk on this earth becomes a trip in the palm of our Creator.

The following video is filmed in Bolivia at a place called "Salar de Uyuni", the place where heaven and earth are said to meet. I hope it speaks to you the way it did for me. Enjoy:
