Lockdown 142

Lockdown Day 142 - 15 August 2020

Today I left home for my walk before sunrise. It was a red morning sky and the moon had risen in conjunction with the morning star, Venus. As the sun rose, the red sky changed to yellow, cream and indigo after settling into different blue hues. I kept the morning star in the eye throughout the day untill it set a while before the sun, once again very visible, now the evening star. 

I thought about the name change and how morning and evening really looked different. I wonder if Venus has a minor personality crisis, being two different stars in one day. After all, in mythology it is a 'she' 😅, named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. Venus is also the only planet named after a woman.

Although the saying goes, "its a woman's perogative to change her mind",  this is applicable to all people today. Everyone deserves the perogative to have an opinion. 

Truth is, we have a public side we show to the world and a private side very few, if any, ever see. These can also be the best version of ourselves or the worst. But the One who created us has access to both. The reality is that although the two look different, they are actually the same person. 

So, if you are having trouble with inner conflict, know that you are not alone. Your spirit-soul-body connection has been designed by a Creator who knows it all. Feed your spirit with His Word during your daily quiet times to nurture the best version of yourself.
