Lockdown 129

Lockdown Day 129 - 2 August 2020
Last night there was n specific alignment of planets I did not know of, as I only saw Saturn and Venus. After reading up about it today, I discovered August 2020 has a lot in store for us.

Between now and the next few days Jupiter and Saturn will be visible close to the full moon. On 8 August Mars will be visible, especially in the pre-dawn sky.
Around 12 and 13 August Venus will be brilliantly bright and there will be a Perseid meteor (very bright and visible) shower.
Venus and the moon will be in conjunction around 15 August and around 28-29 August the moon will be seen close to Jupiter and Saturn again (tap and hold the link below, then tap google to open for more to read).

To see these planets dotting the sky is to me an amazing experience. We learned about them in school, but to see them with the naked eye adds a new dimension to life.

Here I am, standing on a planet called Earth, looking at 4 other planets out there in the universe, in our solar system, one of many in our milky way of which many more exist.

And to know this was created when God stretched out his hands. Wow. Everything perfectly aligned. All systems moving without colliding. I can't help but marvel at the great expanse. God must have had such fun.
Have you ever thought about the fact that He can see it all in one go? 👀 Well I imagine He can, being Omniscient and all.
And yet, man still thinks he can play God.

This is the very reason I believe nothing is impossible for Him. He can pick up this earth like a dandelion, this earth that is covered in an abominable virus, and He can blow it off the face of the earth in one breath.

It's time for us to believe He can. To stand outside every night in August and think about this. And believe it. Pray it. Shout it. Think it. Say it. Over and over again untill it happens. Because He really CAN. Because He's got this.

I leave you with this fabulous Carman song:
