Lockdown 126

Lockdown Day 126 - 30 July 2020
Getting in my car today, there was a medium sized white feather on my seat. I haven't seen it before and tried to think if it could've landed there when the car door was open. But in the back of my mind I knew this was another feather sent from heaven to confirm His presence.

These random little things happen all the time. I walk out the door and a guinea fowl feather is at my door. Haven't seen a guinea fowl around ever since we've moved in. I get delayed when on a shopping trip (this really irritates me, because I plan Lockdown shopping in times I have found the shops to be less busy), only to run into someone I haven't seen in a while who has a profound story to tell in that moment, which builds me up spiritually.

I decide to be responsible for a change and start assembling my bank statements for my tax sumbission, starting with the statements in my inbox. Upon opening my inbox I see an email from a site I have recently unsubscribed from. I get the feeling I should open it, which I do, and there is an answer to one of my prayers.

What I'm trying to say is never discard that inner prompting when it knocks on your heart. God uses many avenues to get our attention, speak to us and answer us. But if we have pre-suppositions about how God speaks, we miss it all. So tonight, let's look for the random little things that prompt our heart to stay a little longer in that moment.

Even though we may fear disappointment, the only way to overcome it, is to allow ourselves the freedom go through it and be mindful in the moment. Be prepared to experience the muchness He has waiting for us. Because, yes, He's got it all under control and He really has got this.
