Lockdown Day 227 - 8 November 2020
We once again took the road to Addo and arrived late afternoon, seeing the clouds roll in on a cold front expected to bring lots of rain.
We visited a farm stall outside Cradock, and drove alongside impressive wind farms enjoying local produce like biltong and shortbread dipped in milky bar. The local area's radio station was playing our kind of music, from Billy Joel favourites to Johnny Clegg.
As always we had a wonderful evening with our friends, and retired blessed by such friendship. Thinking about those wind farms, I made a connection. Even if it doesn't look as if the wind is blowing, the turbines turn, albeit slowly. And that generates electricity.
Such is life, it keeps going on and the earth keeps turning. And the human connections we make generate part of the energy we need to also keep going.
The sheer size of such a turbine reminds me of how God provides. He is our generator of life, the source of our energy, He is LIFE.
And He's got this.
Amen ♥
