✨Lockdown Day 730-26 March 2022✨
Tonight at midnight, 730 days will have passed since Lockdown was imposed for the first time in 2020 because of an abominable virus and the vice grip it suddenly had on the whole world. A full two years.
Never did I imagine a lockdown in my lifetime. Two years ago we thought, "how bad can 21 days of Lockdown be?"
Two years ago I thought I'd write a blog each day to diarise my brain on everything Lockdown. Never did I imagine doing this for a straight 730 days. Ever.
But, here I am. I actually did. And here we all are. We made it to this day. Truth be told, most of us struggled, doubted, tantrumed and most probably screamed inwardly.
But, we saw we could, just like Thomas the tank engine, "do this". We began to think maybe we can get through this and maybe we're going to make it. So far, so good. We learned this virus was real. We learned it can be deadly and we learned to live with it. I think.
We also learnt Truth is a Person and the only authority we could trust is Jesus, our omnipresent Saviour, our Friend who laid down His life for us.
So, what better way to celebrate this, than praying with Angus Buchan for rain! Today, he came to stand inside the Kouga dam to pray with the people of the Eastern Cape to Jesus for repentance, salvation and the opening of the heavens, trusting Him for a 100% full dam.
All over we agreed in prayer while listening on Radio Kingfisher, who went there to share the message. What a blessed way to enter a new chapter!
Looking up to God is the way forward. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
He most assuredly and most definitrly has got this.
