Lockdown Day 717-13 March 2022
By sunset we had 24mm in our gauge, also hearing from friends in the Langkloof who got 30mm and it is still steadily coming down.
Gratitude was our mantra for the day as we celebrated our friend André's birthday and his amazing recovery from Covid last year.
As we sat around the table filled with their family and friends, I counted blessing upon blessing. And saw the love in everyone's hearts. The words people of the earth come to mind.
And through it all I experienced God's tangible presence, knowing that He's really and truly got this.
So here is one of my favourite songs just to celebrate our blessings, hoewever small they are, in a tangible way:
