Lockdown Day 708- 4 March 2022

The weekend is here and after dropping off the pooch at her sitter for a schnauzie weekend, we head inland for a weekend on a farm in Jansenville.

While driving we watched the sun navigate through promising rain clouds, painting impressive vistas all around us.

Dinner consisted of lamb and chicken sosaties, wild mustard bean salad and banana salad. The quiet of the farm settles into our bones and soon we retire under the cool air-conditioning.

So tonight I am grateful for the love of my life, weekend getaways and a healing glute muscle. For farmers and the food they produce and people of the soil.
