Lockdown Day 447- 16 June 2021
Something else I wanted to add to the previous post was how rest and sleep gives your memory and physical brain an invaluable boost. But first, a word of warning: a nap does not replace your sleep cycle. This is above and additional to a normal adult sleep cycle between 7-9 hours. Poor sleeping habits cannot be fixed by a rest schedule.

While sleep is the time our brain restores and repairs itself and the body, napping also has some pretty cool benefits when it comes to our day to day survival. Not only does it enhance memory, but also helps us connect the dots of information we learned earlier in the day, in other words understanding put into practice.

It helps you to be more alert while boosting work performance and improves your mood considerably, especially if you have a difficult day or long night ahead.
Creativity, lower blood pressure and a super alert immune system all present good reasons for a rest schedule.

“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest,” He answered.
