Lockdown Day 433- 1 June 2021
Today was spent rearranging and unpacking the last of our personal effects and clothes, finally putting away the empty suitcases and starting to get a feel for negotiating our way through our new living space.
I took a quick drive to the beach front just to see the ocean at sunset, before hurrying home for dinner. What a sight it was and even though I didn't get out to walk, just knowing it's there was enough.
With some last little tasks still in need of attention we called it a day as loadshedding started at 8pm. Thankful for fresh pj's and hot water, I sink into my bed, a tired body with a contented spirit.
Listening to the rain tapping on my window for the fourth night in a row, I bless God for His immeasurable goodness, provision and grace. And that He's still got this through it all.
