Birthday week and wedding week #2
After moving and unpacking a whole house (and the battle scars to show it), we finished up all the to-do things prior ro leaving for Nam. Said goodbye to Roxy who will stay with Jacqueline from Purrfect Paws, fetched Covid printouts and cleaned house with the help of a trusted worker I have known a long time.
And then the packing started again. I have to say its weird to unpack and then pack again. I know the reason is a wonderful Nam trip to see our son getting married and reconnect with the good friends we made while we were living there.
But the physical strain of all the packing really got me last night. We literally did not have a moment to pack earlier like we usually do for these long trips. Packing is a funny thing. It releases hormones and emotions into a cocktail only your brain knows why the heck it does what it does. And that is on top of one of the 5 most stressful things a human can go through: moving house.
So basically I am a very tired, extremely emotional home mommy who tries to keep everything together and keep the peace amidst all these hormonal cocktails around me. So, basically, I'm FINE! 🤣
So tonight I share Jeff Dunham and his puppets' pandemic video called Quarantined. I share it because it makes me laugh uncontrollably and hysterically. And because I can identify. 🤪 (my fave is of course Peanut, the purple one) ENJOY!
