Lockdown Day 251 - 2 December 2020
Today began with another list of errands in our rush to get everything done for our trip to Namibia for our eldest son's wedding. A while ago I wrote about safety on stairs and how we found a stick-on tape so the pooch can have access to our stairs.
The tape worked like a charm and Roxy devised her own mode of stair climbing. Problem is, she can see through the stairs and we think that's the reason she doesn't climb the normal way. Plus, she doesn't go down on her own, only up. So we decided to order cut melamine board so we can eliminate that.
After all that and some other errands we went home and suddenly became the moving house victims plastered horizontally with little to none energy left other than to get on a couch or bed. The nap did us the world of good and before long it was business as usual.
As the day came to a close and our christmas lights lit up, we lit our usual Wednesday fire and braaied. While sitting outside in my new green room, I heard some guinea fowl and other birds announcing night time. Thankful for an opportunity to get some shut eye, I retired, silently saying Yeshua's Name.
