Lockdown Day 776-11 May 2022
Move number 2B. Day 1. After the exhausting week, I decided to take five while my trusted and truly amazing help came to do the deep cleaning needed and to have the house look presentable for viewing.
I spent this time doing a little of everything. Hugged a tree, had coffee in a treehouse container, fed my soul with the beautiful things on offer in the Hazelwood Quarter. My friend Helena joined me for a quick catch up and later, the pooch and I enjoyed the clean and fresh looking stoep.
Starting to prep for another packing streak, I took stock of what still needed to get into a box and also what is going to be stored. A couple of items are also going on sale, and I plan to be packed and ready in 9 days when hubby will be back for the storage move and our return to PE together.
I muse over the mania of moving, but mostly about the end-result and being done with it all, vowing to sleep for a week after this.
And I offer up a prayer for Conrad the mover man who is leaving for PE tomorrow with all my things. Because God's got this.
