Lockdown Day 771-6 May 2022
My day was extra special because of my core friends Laurette and Berdine who decided a whisk-away operation was in order and Berdine took us on a coffee safari.
While we coffee-hopped from one spot to the next, surprised about these hidden gems, I felt in my heart this is how life is meant to be: if the celebration of life doesn't come to us, we need to juat get up and go find it.
I saw places that inspired, views that intoxicated and tasted next level coffee, each in their own right. Moreover, these two incredibly special girlfriends just made this day even more significant than it already was, causing me to celebrate Inecke's life too.
I started out completely bushed and ended off completely energised, feeling the load lift off my shoulders, gaining new perspectives and fresh plans for this move. Thanks "Core", you absolutely rock!
So tonight, as I offer up a prayer of rain for a 💯% full Kouga dam, I am grateful to celebrate life and to remember who created me. Because He's got this.
