Lockdown Day 774-9 May 2022
It's a strange thing when you move away from the place you came to love and an environment you got used to. Everywhere you go, there are special memories with special people.
My thoughts go back to the day we moved here and how happy we were to be close to our youngest. Also, my Bestie Charmiane and I were overjoyed to be in the same city for the first time since we had our babies together in Harrismith, where our friendship was destined to be forever crafted.
But then, life happened and we had to go, all the while thinking we might come back. Through all the visits, I had this thing where I would take coffee and a cookie to my doctor, her receptionist and my Bestie pharmacist who both worked in the same mall.
It was precisely a year ago when I was packing the bare minimum for our temporary stay. In that year, Charmiane got engaged and was planning a wedding, and before we knew it she was up and away to Canada in a flash.
What I am trying to say, is places and their people grow on you in a particular way, and it becomes personal. I hope to never forget any of them and feel very blessed to have been there. So tonight I fall asleep with the Lord watching over me, praying He watches over you too🤍.
