Lockdown Day 768-2 May 2022
On this colourful last autumn/first winter's day, we tended to the last of the townhouse things for now. A couple of other things still need to be done as soon as the other moves happen. Tomorrow I start to pack and box my own things for PE.
Moving is a lot like homeopathic medicine. It always gets worse before it gets better. In this case, it also looks like a cluttered house with appliance boxes and packaging boxes I have placed around the house in preparation for tomorrow.
The estate agent is bringing someone to view the house for rental tomorrow late afternoon. Although they know we are packing, I wonder if one can really want to live in a house if you are not a visual person who can imagine it without all the packing clutter and cupboard contents everywhere.
I am reminded of an old Style Network television series called Clean House, where the tv people can't even walk through the house because of all the clutter. I clam up just at the thought, silently resolving to at least have the cupboard contents safely in boxes by tomorrow afternoon.
So tonight I thank God for good health, lots of energy and a sharp mind. And for Natasha, who brightened up my day.
