Lockdown Day 744-9 April 2022
Today I went to check out the Bellbuoy Ocean event. Swimmers swim straight out to the bellbuoy 2.5km from Pollock Beach and back.
The wind became East quickly, changing what would've been an easy swim into a difficult one for most.
Happy to watch with a cuppa in hand, I was immensely proud of all the Tribe members who finished and vowed to work on my Ocean fitness for longer distances and join these mer-people in this event.
As the clouds lifted slightly and the sea became green and choppy, we walked our usual promenade route, enjoying the fresh but moderate easterly breeze and cloudy conditions.
Amidst storm warnings from the weather buro for the Free State and Gauteng, still no rain has reached the Kouga dam, which is standing at 14%, 0.3% less than last week.
So with all the threatening clouds still hanging around, I ask you to join us in prayer for a 💯 % full Kouga dam. This translates into at least 4 days of non-stop very heavy showers directly into the dam or at least in the near catchment areas. Because God is omnipotent and all powerful.
