Lockdown Day 655- 10 January 2022
Today was the second scorcher in a row. For this area, 29°C is extreme because of the humidity. Not even coffee could dull the feint headache that was slowly developing as the heat set in.
A windless hot day is bliss for washing, but also a reminder of why the wind is our breather in the summer.
While hearing of rain all over and dams overflowing, it feels as if we are the last people in the world wondering what rain looks like.
For a week now, we have been watching the clouds streak by in the direction of East London, hearing about their good fortune of rain.
I look up, wondering what's wrong. For ground to be this dry for so long, something in the spirit realm must be afoot.
So tonight I offer up an earnest prayer of repentance, thanksgiving and a heartfelt request to my God who is the Creator of everything.
For a blessing of rain in a time such as this. To show us His might so all can see and know He is in control. For an overflowing Kouga dam. 🙏
