Lockdown 653

Lockdown Day 653- 8 January 2022
Late yesterday afternoon we loaded Roxy the Schnauzie and our overnight bags for a sleep-over visit in Addo.

After a special evening with good food and excellent company, we started today with a lazy breakfast after which we bid our friends from De Old Drift goodbye, returning home via Uitenhage.

As we turned onto the main road entering the Bay, the white water pockets were dancing on the ocean - proof of the now familiar and viral wind we have learnt to embrace.

To me, the wind signifies the air I breathe, reminding me of the presence of God in my life. Every time I walk out and the wind catches my hair or brushes against my skin, it serves as a tangible reminder of His gentle touch on my life. Inspiring me to keep on keeping on, just as my lungs keep on inhaling and exhaling automatically.

So tonight my prayer is for all of us, to allow God to become an integral part of our daily life, to inhale Him and the life He has given us. Because this is thé 02 year. And because He's got this.
