Lockdown 405

Lockdown Day 405 - 5 May 2021
Early this morning I had to go to the nearby mall for a few things and saw the pop-up coffee station was up and running. I stopped for a takeaway flat white.

The barista asked me if I believed in God's provision. Stunned, I answered, "Yes, I do. Why do you ask?" He said, "If God asks you to do something or go somewhere, you should've done it or been there already, because God is ready to act on your behalf."

"He then went on to explain that God's provision is ready and waiting, all we have to do is get up and go! He said God told Moses at the burning bush His name is I AM.... The reason he did not say what or who He was, is because He didn't want Moses to limit His countenance, power and esteem to mundane characteristics. No, He left the sentence unfinished because He is infinite and limitless..

Walking away, I realised this is how God designed us. He uses us as His messengers, urging us to tune in to the prompting of His Spirit, even if it doesn't make sense. He sends customised messages, delivered in accordance with His Word and stripped of all pretense. Straight forward, no guessing games.

When you prioritise your life and always put your Creator first every day, comitting whatever your plans are into His control, you don't have to worry about a thing. He knows what's best.

Looking up while the sun set this evening I was blown away by the clouds and the sun, and just had to photograph it (below). I silently thanked God for His provision.
He most definitely has got this.
