Lockdown Day 332 - 21 February 2021
Sunday. Anticipating another hot day, we started off early with a quick stroll followed by a coffee out with our Vitality rewards.
Online church followed after which we lazed through the day, enjoying our roast which was also cooked overnight in the pizza oven, adding roast butternut and a pan fried mix of broccoli and cauliflower.
The Sunday heat found us all dozing off in shifts whilst following the Australian Open men's tennis final. Old Djokkie (my new name for Novak Djokovic) did it again for the 9th time.
Being a die-hard Federer fan, I am slowly warming up to Djokkie. At least he doesn't break rackets by the dozens. Medvedev really made himself look bad and I couldn't help but wonder about the cost a sponsor incurs during a tournament such as this.
As I lie in bed watching the clouds cover the moon, wondering which of my family and friends are also looking at the moon, I muse over a world going through the unthinkable and offer up a prayer for all the lost and lonely, thanking God for assuring me of His presence and love in the midst of it all.
