Lockdown 552

Lockdown Day 552 - 29 September 2021
After a day of soft non-stop rain, we had 10mm in our gauge by nightfall. And of course, I dug out my boots and vests again! My friend Riƫtte told me how her mother used to say, "in PE you never put away winter clothes before 1 December"!

With yesterday's horse video still fresh in my memory, I am still inspired. Being mentally strong and staying positive are key skills we need to develop quickly in times such as these. Recognising that we need each other to get through all of this, is a key ingredient to remain standing strong.
Just look at how the dogs in this video working together to keep a balloon in the air:

Believing in yourself and your ability to get out of the mud, frees your mind from the control imposed by worldly standards.
Once your mind is free, you move into the "I can" category of survival and soon you'll find yourself running with other free spirits under God's watchful eye and  guidance.

So tonight I offer up a prayer for God to show me where I am stuck and to look out for those I need to draw strength from to get out. I also ask Him to show me where to run to help others who are stuck to be free. I ask this knowing God's firmly got this.
