Cold weather is on its way for the winter areas on the globe and is predicted to be colder than usual.

According to timeanddate the earth's elliptical path around the sun will have reached its furthest point from the sun. It is called the Aphelion Phenomenon and will last approximately between 4 July and 22 August 2022.

The normal distance from the Sun to Earth is 5 light minutes or 90 million km. With the Aphelion Phenomenon the distance will be 66% further at a distance of 152 million km.

A warning has also been issued for people to be mindful of their health and to keep their immune systems strong. The colder weather is said to have an impact on colds and flu, citing the occurrence of shortness of breath as an accompanied symptom.

Moreover we are also warned that a warm spell is the indicator for the coming cold. So plan for the warm days, but pump up your immune system with vitamin C and A&D. Get enough sleep and stay hydrated. Prevention is always better than cure.

After finishing off the unpacking of the meds and linen spaces, I start with my little office space I plan to tackle tomorrow.
