Lockdown Day 797-1 June 2022
Today I focus on the kitchen. I remember something Julie Morgenstern said in her book "Organizing from the Inside Out" and I quote:
"If you don't know where you are going, how will you know when you get there?"
She also said, "The key is to find out how long it takes YOU to do the things you need to do."
Pertaining to unpacking, it means you need to decide where you want what before you start. So I unpacked all the stuff we stashed in the little pantry, and started organising the items for the pantry back onto the shelves.
I think back to the first pantry I ever had in our house we built just outside Windhoek. Memories of all the good times we had there and all the wonderful dishes and baked eats I produced from that pantry makes me excited to look forward to the memories this pantry will bring.
Conrad the mover man delivered our gas braai this afternoon and we fire up a steak to celebrate our homecoming in the Bay. In the cold winter night air, I look up to see the stars. A couple of fleecy clouds drift by and I know for sure God's got this.
