Lockdown Day 361 - 22 March 2021
I left Bloem with Jaru beans and Thabo's flaweless flat white in hand, after ending off a fabulous weekend of countless new memories and blessings. Although I didn't get to reconnect with everyone, I'm sure I'll be back soon enough for another visit.
As far as we drove there were fields of Kosmos flowers along the roadside, with showers of the familiar pink, magenta and white flowers. I always look for the fliwers by the roadside as a sign of life, and life in abundance.
Today I was spoilt rotten all the way, sone places covered in flowers for kilimeters on end. A silent affirmation to my spirit of the Lord's presence He assures us of in His Word.
As I lie in bed recapping the weekend in my mind, I see mist rolling in over the green belt, following a welcome thunder shower to cool down the earth. I offer up a prayer of thanks for the fresh night breeze wafting in over our tired bodies.
"Now then, I pray, if I have found grace in Your eyes, show me Your ways, so that I may know You, so that I might find favor in Your sight. Consider also that this nation is Your people.” “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest,” He answered. "
