Lockdown Day 355 - 16 March 2021

The interview Oprah had with Prince Harry and his wife Meghan sparked many conversations around the world. Fan or no fan, what they did was nothing short of admirable in the highest grade. After what happened to Diana, Harry has always been very outspoken about how he did not want history to repeat itself and tried his best to live and advocate these beliefs. 

But, after history did repeat itself, I kept thinking about Harry's words, "I was trapped, but didn't know I was" and how much their story looks like what happened to the world when this abominable virus hit. All our security was ripped from us. Albeit worldly. We had to survive against all odds. We still are trapped in a way.

The prince was saved by the love of his life. And then he rescued her right back. He knew he would lose his life if he didn't forfeit it.  Sound familiar? This is why the world was inspired by these two people who needed help. 

So why not be someone else's person. Be the help they thought they'd never get. Be the ear that listens without judgement. Be whatever you can give. Just be there.

In the words of Matthew 10:8, "You must continually bring healing to lepers and to those who are sick, and make it your habit to break off the demonic presence from people, and raise the dead back to life. Freely you have received the power of the kingdom , so freely release it to others. "
