Lockdown 354

Lockdown Day 354 - 15 March 2021

Today I heard a lovely uplifting story which made me realise we need to lighten up and be like a child, experience the world like a child.

The story is about a little girl visiting her grandmother, asking about the whereabouts of her cat who had just passed away. The answer was Jesus came to fetch the cat to visit Him. So the little girl exclaimed, "I visit kitty and Jesus!"

With absolutely no idea of the limitations of her body she became very excited and couldn't wait for her Mom and Dad to happily tell them she's going to visit Jesus!

In that moment I realised what this little girl represents, is for many of us an impossible thought. Truth is, we can 'visit' with Jesus anytime, all the time. And we can have that same beaming face just because we can. We have just forgotten that we, as children of God, have permanent access to the throne.

This little girl knows that too.

How great it is for us to have supenatural connections with the Creator and owner of the universe. So tonight I shall have a cup of tea with God. Because I can.

And because He's got this.
