Lockdown Day 466 - 5 July 2021
Shakespeare said, "To be or not to be". Out of it flowed many years of debates, articles, speeches and sermons.
Today I believe the question should rather be, " To be bitter, or to be better, which do you choose? "
It is not a question of living or dying but what to be while alive. Life can either make us bitter or better. The choice is ours.
A lifetime of bitterness can cause cancer, alienate the Spirit of God and change the entire being into a ball of robotic tissue, merely existing.
But spending a lifetime on the betterment of joy, peace and love and positively wiring one's outlook on life attracts the Spirit of God, brings healing and life into the body, mind and soul.
God blew His breath (Spirit) into man's nostrils so we could know Him, enjoy His creation and make Him known. Why? So others would want to know Him too.
We weren't put on earth to merely exist. So, why don't we take the "i" out of bitter and make the effort to be the best we can be!
God's really got this.
