Lockdown 462

Lockdown Day 462- 1 July 2021
I have always been mesmerised with wonder over how people (me too!) keep photographing sunrises and sunsets over and over again throughout life's journey.

Maybe the resemblance of fire ignites the most primal attraction in us all. Watching that great big ball of fire on the horizon emphasizes its size and affords us a moment to look at it directly without damage to our eyes.

It could also be the connection we have with space and the enigma of an unknown world, the mystery of such an incredible creation. An innert desire of the heart to reach out to our Creator.

Last night we saw such a sunset sky, ablaze with the setting sun touching the waves and colouring the clouds. To me, these were precious moments as it felt as if God was surrounding us with His holy presence, showing us His power, majesty and shekinah glory all at once.

I just stood there completely gobsmacked with awe.
And completely convinced of His message:
*I am here. Do not fear. Trust in Me alone. I've got this. "
