Lockdown 196

Lockdown Day 196 - 8 October 2020
Tree hugging #2 and Wedding #1.

Today I met a mophead. My Bestie and I are in Vanderkloof for her son's wedding and after a wild day of visiting all the friends I retired without finishing my post.

The mophead stands planted in the garden of M. She is a kindred spirit in Christ, who carries the presence of the Lord. Upon our arrival the tree asked for a hug, and I complied.

And sitting under that mophead in the lukewarm breeze the tree spoke of the wonders of God. My need for green was fed and my spirit felt the anointing of the Spirit of God. It was a moment in time that will be fixed in my spirit forever.

At one of our stops, H blessed us with a fresh lunch overlooking the impressive Vanderkloof dam in her guesthouse called Waterfront.
The rest of the afternoon was spent with 6 of my Bestie's other close friends. Weddings are for this: rekindling of friendships and strengthening of spiritual bonds.

One of those bonds I also share with Maretha and her new love Pierre. What a wonderful evening we had, picking up where we left off and singing the praises of our Creator for the paths he took us on and how we have cone out as shining lights in His kingdom.

I look forward to the rest of this wedding weekend and can't wait to see what is in store for us! God's definitely got this.
